When a young boy, Malcolm, discovers that his parents are not who they say they are, he sets out to discover the truth. What he discovers may be a little out of this world.

 

​"Sunnyville" was my thesis film, and the first larger-scale movie with a budget on which I was cinematographer. I had the opportunity to shoot on the Super Baltar Vintage Prime lenses, which were used on other films such as Godfather, Star Wars, and Rush. I paid homage to several influential filmmakers throughout the short, see if you can catch those moments!
